Oliva is a city located in the southern border of the province of Valencia, near the top of the province of Alicante. Our coastline stretches over 11.8km, formed sandy beaches and amazing natural dunes.

• El Porrat de Sant Antoni, January 17.  This event is a typical party where is offered Oliva’s artisanal food.The party is in street San Vicente, during all day. And the people cooking a typical dish named ‘Arroz amb fessols i naps’, the best of everywhere in Valencia.

Fallas. From 17th to 19th of March. It is the typical festival of Valencia. Where the people are wearing traditional dresses, the streets is very funny with bands and the participants building a big monument, which, represents a bad moments, like a politics or social problems. Fair Trade. For a week in late June. In the Passeig Lluis Vives, you will be able to see three fairs Fair: Fire of Motor, fire craft and culinary.

Moros y Cristianos. The third week of July. This festival is declared of National Tourist Interest. Every year, the Moors and Christians invade Oliva. The third week of July. While the Friday is ‘Christian Parade ‘ which it’s finishing at night, on the Paupi Beach, with the event: the debarkation. Summer is the time to enjoy the evenings, in the chill out bars. In a beach-transparent waters on a sandy bars and music are installed. Every summer can change some, but we leave a summary of the previous year.

• Cinema Olympia Theatre. This is the oldest Theatre in Oliva. Here are shown movies, plays, concerts, etc. All information and billboard here

• Cinema Portal Marina (Ondara). There is a shopping center with several cinemas about 15km to Oliva.


‘La Ruta de la Tapa’ takes place in different areas of Oliva – ride area, neighborhoods of San Francisco and San Vicente, old town and beach – there are bars and restaurants offering a wide variety of tapas that delight our visitors. Every Friday, predominates a pleasant family atmosphere that invites to taste more like their tapas.


Water Sports. We can find a whole range of water sports to practice on the beaches of Olivia. Kite Surfing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Paddle Surf and Sail. More info here.

Karting. If you want to go racing on Oliva, is the Karting Vives where you can rent a car, competing in group competitions or enjoy karts, motorcycles and supermotard.

Horse riding. In the Natural Park Pego-Oliva and near the beach you can find the Oliva Nova Centro Hipico an ideal for walks and excursions with a horse riding.

Walking and cycling. We propose a route where you can enjoy a relaxed level with children, Aigua Blanca Beach and all his ride. Via Verde de la Safor Gandia- Oliva.

  • Archaeological Museum. In this museum is collected various periods of Oliva’s History from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
  • Vicente Parra Museum, It’s a house where was to borned D. Gregorio Mayans Sisco, for more information and schedules available here.
  • Museum of Illustration. This is a recreation of the XVIII century manor house, which also gives another name:Museo Casa Mayans.


Discover our endless beaches, characterized by protected nature. Walking towards our coast from north to south you will be able to find, five wonderful beaches.


  • Beach Aigua Morta. Behold the Oliva Nova golf course, where also several football fields are included. Includes facilities for equestrian jumping and is celebrated the most popular Championship MET (Mediterranean Equestrian Tour).


We propose you a car trips with a round inland villages. Immersed in their valleys, they emphasize its buildings, natural mountain setting and the gastronomy. Below we detail the ones we like.

  • Vall de Laguar, many consider it the capital of trails in the province. It is an inland town charm. Between mountains and cherries, are the four populations that form La Vall de Laguar, with L’infern ravine and river Girona as witnesses. Do not miss a visit to the dam of Isbert.

  • Vall de Gallinera, lies in a valley surrounded by mountains, has eight villages and is situated next to Vall de Ebo.

In the town of Oliva you can visit many historical monuments.

  • Church of Saint Francisco de Asis. XX century. This church is situated beside the main road N-332 at the entrance to our town coming from Alicante.
  • Castillo de Santa Ana, XVI century. It was declared of cultural interest in 2002, it is a fortress located on a castle with two towers.
  • Oven Romano. It’s located environment ‘Chapí Mestre’ streets and ‘Santísimo’. The excavation of archaeological area corresponding to a Roman pottery of the first century D.C.

  • Guided tours of the ‘Marjal Pego-Oliva‘, where we can see its wildlife tours. A Natural Park located in Molinell river, where we will discover their routes, trails and see a wide variety of birds, a protected species-rich freshwater environment.
